My name is Laura Seetal Seva, and my mission in this life is to elevate people spiritually and emotionally to a higher experience; to remind people about the sweetness of life. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
I’m a yoga and mediation teacher, intuitive and ceremonial healer, and a life transformation coach. I’ve spent years reading books about psychological and spiritual health, attending trainings of kundalini yoga, sitting in the Peruvian jungle with the medicine people. I’ve been through a soul initiation journey, I’ve learnt and practiced shamanic work. I’ve followed life coaching trainings. And most importantly – I tried it all out in my life. I practiced. Yoga, breathing, healing, contemplation, integrating the lost parts of my soul, guiding myself through the deep healing of my childhood pain. I’ve been building my life by including my soul in it. The path has not been easy. It has been a very worthy one.
Currently, I live in Belgium with my Flemish husband and two wonderful, good-hearted kids. I grew up in the North of Europe, Latvia, in deep connection to the Baltic sea, the forests, the seasons of the Mother Earth. That’s where I found my moments of happiness – in my own deep grounding, connection to nature, whilst growing up in a neglectful, emotionally draining and drama-filled household. After my university studies, I wanted to go as far as I could from that household, and I worked for the European Parliament for 20 years in Luxebourg and in Belgium. After 20 years, I hit a rock – a burn-out, parental and professional. At that point I decided – I want to heal myself and truly leave my past behind.
My soul was calling me to wake to up to my deeply buried true self. Buried under trauma since I was a new-born baby. Buried under old beliefs, under ignorance about my own true needs. I made a decision to take time to heal and grow, and it took a serious investment of time and self-reflection, introspection, and inner resources to rebirth myself. According to soul guide Bill Plotkin, in his book Journey of Soul Initiation, very few people in the Western world actually accomplish soul initiation experiences and mature psychospiritually, because our Western consumerist capitalist systems don’t value independence and emotional maturity and balance: there is no language to describe that, no value is put on taking your time for yourself, on slowing down. So, we, in the West, are left on our own in tending for our souls, with no support from loving community or wisdom of true elders. We can only support each other. And that’s why I’m here for you! I’m supporting people in finding their true connections back – to themselves, to their soul, to their needs, and I’m supporting people through big changes and transformations in their life, also – through the dark night of their souls.
My service to people as a soul guide and life coach comes through my superpowers to feel and sense deeply, to hold safe space with no judgement, to bring inner peace and acceptance, as well as through courage to face the inner parts which may be hurting. Needless to say, I learnt all that through my own life experience which included a lot of pain, a lot of rejection. And I grew beyond it.
My interests include human life from birth to death on both psychospiritual and grounding, practical level, feminism, metaphysical healing, soul connection, connection to nature and the Mother Earth, and deeper meaning to human life and soul.
